Six kinds of glass work, one pair of hands.

Brent replaces it, repairs it, tints it and gets stuck windows moving again. At the shop in Bonaire, or wherever the vehicle happens to be parked.

Broken, then fixed

The bad half of the picture is always somebody's Monday.

His jobs come in pairs: the glass as it arrived, and the glass he put in. A windshield crushed along its top edge, an impact break spidered across the driver's side. Then the same car, taped and clear.

“He took about 2 hours to do the work, left no trash or broken glass in or around my car.”

Monday to Wednesday

From the phone call to the tape coming off.

Three stops on a typical windshield, told by the people it happened to.

The call

He answers, and books it

"Talked to Brent on Monday and he had me scheduled within minutes for Wednesday." You talk to Brent, not a call centre, and Ashley Roy says he answered every one of her emails too.

The driveway

Old glass out, new glass in

Brent drives to the house. Dustin Gibson watched him work and says he had the correct glass and fitted it quickly and competently. When rain started on Ashley Roy's job, the car went under shelter first.

The tape

Taped, cured, cleaned up

Orange retention tape holds the new glass while the urethane sets. Paul Fitzgerald got directions for aftercare; Dustin Gibson found no trash or broken glass left in or around his car.

Brent's Mobile Glass, then Brent's Glass

The shop came later. The driveway visits never stopped.

Customers in 2019 were booking “BMG”, Brent's Mobile Glass, and he came to their houses. Today there is a unit at Suite D, 101 Lochlyn Place, with a bay where the tint and in-shop work happens. He still loads up and drives out: three different customers, years apart, describe a windshield replaced at their own home.

Asked on the phone

What people want to know first.

Anything not here, ask him on (478) 972-7741 or send a message.

Either. The business started out as Brent's Mobile Glass and he still drives out, so plenty of windshields get done on a driveway at home. There is also a shop at Suite D, 101 Lochlyn Place in Bonaire if you would rather drop the car off. Say which you want when you call (478) 972-7741.

Budget about two hours for the fit. One customer wrote up his job start to finish and that is what it took, cleanup included. The urethane then needs its own cure time before the car is safe to drive, and Brent tells you what that is on the day, because heat and humidity change it.

It depends on size, depth and where it sits. A small chip away from the driver's line of sight can often be filled with resin and stabilised so it stops spreading. Once a crack has run, or the damage sits right in front of the driver, replacement is usually the honest answer. Call and describe it, or send a photo by email.

Adhesive and wet glass do not mix, so the job moves under cover or to another day. One customer's review describes exactly that: it started raining, so Brent moved the car somewhere sheltered rather than pressing on in the wet.

Where it can be done, yes. One customer's gate sticker came off the old windshield and went onto the new one in one piece. Point out anything on the glass you care about before the work starts.

Yes. Window tinting is part of what the shop does, and the door at Suite D says so. Ask about it on its own or alongside a glass job when you call.
